DinnerMates Agent  in Western Cape, Kim' s Gourmet was recently awarded the  SPAR Upcoming Supplier 2011 award, at the SPAR  Home Meal Replacement  and Butchery Trade Show,  held in Cape Town on 25 May 2011.

Kim's Gourmet was started in April 2009,  and with the dynamic Kim Bucknall responsible for marketing and sales, and Karen running the office, the company has grown from strength to strength.  Kim's Gourmet supplies value added products to the Catering Industry with the main  focus on hot meal solutions and tasty, interesting snacks.

Kim attributes her success to taking personal care of  all her customers, as well as the quality products she supplies.

In honour of this event DinnerMates had an elegant dinner  on 2 September 2010, in the Factory, Louis Trichardt and a cocktail function on  8 September, at the DinnerMates Kya-Sand depot.

The 15th International World Congress of Food Science and Technology,  held in Cape Town 22 - 26  August 2010, was a resounding success.  The exhibition consisting of over 80 exhibitors, created an excellent platform for networking, branding, meeting new friends and clients and catching up with existing ones. The Congress and Exhibition attracted both International and Local Food Scientists and Technologists. DinnerMates was a proud supporter of the Congress and  enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere.

Monica Fernandes,  of Transmontana Traditional Portuguese Restaurant in Brackenhurst recently won a DinnerMates Product Pack - a promotion  with DinnerMates and RASA  (Restaurant Association of South Africa). Monica was really impressed with the DinnerMates products and thrilled to be a winner. This family business has been open just over a year.  Monica co-owns the restaurant with her brother Carlos, and serves  traditional portuguese cuisine - cooked by their mother who is the chef,  addding the special touch

PURCO AWARDS (21 November 2008)
DinnerMates was awarded First Place on  the 21 November 2008, by  PURCO, who  acknowledged  DinnerMates's  high service and quality ,which are of great importance to the PURCO GROUP. Service, Delivery and Company Representation  are important criteria, as well as Quality of the Products and Customer Service.

Since the inception of the PURCO award's in  2003, DinnerMates has been awarded  2 Second places and 3 First places.

UNIVERSITY OF PRETORIA (5 November 2008) 
On the 5th November 2008, DinnerMates was once again acknowledged by the UNIVERSITY OF PRETORIA (Department of Residence Affairs and Accommodation) by being awarded a Certificate for Exceptional Service Rendered to the Food Services during 2008. Only 13 top suppliers were awarded this certificate!

Under the existing export Registration number ZA 113 (for export of dried meat powder and chunks into the EU)  DINNERMATES is now also registered to export hams, salamies, cooked cold meats, frozen chicken, pork and beef to SADC with effect from 5.2.2008.
